I can’t wait for the new season of Doctor Who. The 8th season looks to be one of the series best with the 12th Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi, making his debut. I’m interested to see what they do with this Doctor and the relationship with his companion.

This season should be 12 episodes plus a Christmas Special. The 11th Doctor’s last companion Clara (Jenna Coleman) returns but that’s not to say there won’t be another companion along the way.

This teaser has a familiar voice and hints at a darker Doctor for his season.

The TARDIS takes flight again August 23rd with the Capaldi’s premier episode, Deep Breath.
