Wow. The teaser trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron is better than I expected. It looks like Ultron is as might of a foe as I imagined. There was not shot of Vision in the trailer but we did get our first look at the infamous Hulkbuster armor Tony Stark created.

A few takeaways: The trailer is beautiful. It’s like watching an action movie orchestra. There’s even that shot of girls doing ballet and it fits seamlessly with the explosion and superhero slow-motion stares.  Ultron looks great and James Spader’s voice is perfect.

The trailer makes great use of Pinocchio’s No Strings. “I had strings, but now I’m free. There are no strings on me”.  I see the Disney/Marvel partnership has its benefits.

I can’t wait.

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens May 1st 2015.
