Fear the Walking Dead, the spin-off to AMC’s #1 show The Walking Dead, has it’s first trailer and it looks awesome.

What did the world look like as it was transforming into the horrifying apocalypse depicted in “The Walking Dead”? This spin-off set in Los Angeles, following new characters as they face the beginning of the end of the world, will answer that question.

The six episode season is set in Los Angeles and gives us our first look at what the initial zombie outbreak looks like. It’ll be interesting to see an outbreak in a highly populated area like LA. It will also be fun to see the characters learn the rules and dos and don’ts of the apocalypse, the hard way.

It looks like they’ve packed a lot of action in just six episodes.

The series stars Cliff Curtis, Ruben Blades, Colman Domingo, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Mercedes Mason, and Alycia Denam Carey.

Fear the Walking Dead premiers on AMC Augsust 23rd.
