Jake Gyllenhaal has been shedding his pretty boy image over the past few years. With gritty performances in End of Watch, Prisoners, and Enemy, the boyish charm I saw in Love & Other Drugs seems like decades ago.
In the new trailer for his new movie Nightcrawler it looks like Gyllenhaal is getting rid of some more dead skin. In the film he plays a Lou Bloom, a guy down on his luck who stumbles into freelance journalism in L.A. Written and directed by Dan Gilroy, Nightcrawler should have it’s share of gritt, gears, and over-the-top violence.
The trailer include’s Jetta’s cover of “I’d Love to Change World” by Ten Years After.
