Talks of a Martin Luther King biopic have been rumored for years. We don’t have one yet but director Ava DuVernay (Middle of Nowhere) brings us a look at one of Dr. King’s defining moments in Selma.

David Oyelowo (The Butler, Interstellar, Red Tails) plays the peacefully persistent Dr. King. He’s joined by an amazing cast that includes one of 2014’s breakout stars Tessa Thompson (Dear White People), Giovanni Ribisi, Tim Roth, Cuba Gooding Jr., Carmen Ejogo, Tom Wilkinson as President Lyndon B Johnson, Oprah Winfrey, Common, and Niecy Nash (Reno 911).
