Macbeth had my attention when they cast Michael Fassbender as Macbeth. Fassbender is such a phenomenal actor. I’d watch him in anything. He could even play President Obama in a movie and I wouldn’t flinch. I’ve never seen any of director Justin Kurzel’s work but the trailer shows some gorgeous shots. Fassbender + Marion Cotillard + Shakespeare = I’m In.

The only thing worse than being in a love triangle is being in a love triangle and you’re the last three people on Earth. Z for Zachariah looks like a more intense version of Fox’s TV series The Last Man on Earth. If you can’t wait for the release, my buddy Matt Oakes over at SilverScreenRiot.com reviewed it at Sundance. Has anyone noticed how good Chiwetel Ejiofor is at crying? He’s really good at it. He’s gold medal at the Crying Olympics good. Ejifor teamed up with Margot Robbie and Chris Pine should make for some magical scene.

What happens when Spider-Man gets kicked out of his home by General Zod? We find out in the new trailer for 99 Homes. Michael Shannon is really good at playing crazy. I’m hopping he has a scene where he goes Full Shannon on someone. I’ve always thought Andrew Garfield was a terrific actor. He was swallowed up in Spider-Man franchise for a few years, but now audiences will get a chance to see what he can do.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation looks like so much fun – gadgets, cars, spies, and MASK! There is some great action in the trailer I know they’ve saved some of the best sequences for the big screen. I can’t wait to see this movies Tom Cruise Run. His last run through in the Dubai sandstorm was epic. Maybe he runs underwater?

Creep is one of the most unique and intimate horror movies I’ve seen in years. I had the pleasure of seeing it at the Seattle International Film Festival last year and now it’s finally getting released. I can’t wait to watch it again. Duplass is AMAZING in this film. Creep is an apt title for this movie. It might night scare you, but it will damn sure creep you out.

Even though The Perfect Guy looks as predictable as a Harlem Globetrotters game, it also looks like a fun ride. Michael Ealy showed how crazy he can be during his run on The Following this year. I’ve already heard multiple women say, “I don’t care how crazy he is, he’s fine.” You say that now, just wait until he’s hiding under your bed at night. I’m going to enjoy the final showdown between Ealy and Morris Chestnut. One of them as to die! The music they use in the trailer is perfect. Speaking of perfect, Sanaa Lathan hasn’t aged in about 10 years.

The people over at Machinima have created an alternate Justice League Universe in Justice League: Gods and Monsters. According to Machinima “In an alternative history Zod is Superman’s father, Batman is a vampiric Man-Bat, and Wonder Woman is the child of Ares, God of War. When these dark heroes form an alliance, the question everyone asks is will they save the world, or rule it?” Sounds like they gave them a anti-hero makeover. Should be interesting.
